Nicole Nichols started Revival Designs as a house flipping company in 2015. She has since designed, flipped and personally staged countless homes with an impeccable attention to detail and craftsmanship, created and managed a 5-star Airbnb, renovated multiple rental properties, and redesigned homes for many clients. These days, she spends the bulk of her time advising Cincinnati homeowners about their own decor and remodeling projects.
Her award-winning designs have been featured in Cincinnati Refined, Cincinnati Magazine, and Home + Design Magazine as well in national digital, print, and television ad campaigns for brands like Kroger, multiple P&G brands, Signature Hardware, iRobot, and Delta faucet. She has also worked in social media partnerships with Daltile, Stuga, Romabio, Form Paper Co., Aquor, FeltRight and more.
Nicole initially studied fine arts and architecture at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design and University of Cincinnati’s DAAP department, only to switch majors entirely and work for 10 years in the health industry. She returned to her design roots after leaving her former career in 2014 when her first child was born. The video below, created in partnership with Signature Hardware, shares more about her design philosophy and the roots of her renovation design business. She works in client homes of all ages, styles and price points.
Nicole is also a ceramic artist and studio member of Queen City Clay. In 2026, she began selling her handmade ceramic objects and porcelain jewelry under the studio name MODERN FoRM. Her one-of-a-kind wares are sold directly via her Instagram page.
