This Little House Got a Big Style Boost
This tiny one bedroom home (less than 800 square feet), located in the popular Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati, is nearly 120 years old. When we bought it, it needed major deferred maintenance as well as aesthetic updates to appeal to today’s renters. On a tight budget, we reconfigured the layout (the former bedroom became a kitchen, the former kitchen became a bedroom), doubled the size of the bathroom, added on-site laundry, and decked it out with furnishings and decor in our signature style: a mix of vintage styling (that feels right in place in an older home) and modern updates.
